Discover the Rivertowns – September 28, 2013

10:30am – 12:00: A guided walk begins at the Irvington Library 12 South Astor Street – Welcome and Information table 10:30 – 5:00pm

11:00am – 4:00pm: Out Door Pop Up Gallery and Grafts Fair with hands-on children’s activities and live music. Also art items for sale.

Meet WFUV DJ at 2:00pm Main Street Parking Lot – 101 Main Street, Irvington, NY 10533

Lunch: Visit our restaurants, cafes or delis or picnic in Scenic Hudson Park, on the waterfront.

2:30pm – 4:00pm A Guided Walk begins at the Irvington Village Hall (85 Main Street) and travels to the Old Croron Aquduct –  North to Lyndhurst and South to Mercy College (Free)

WFUV DJ joins the walk at 2:30 at Pop Up Art Gallery

Meandering among the Historic Millionaires’ Mansions Walk Http://www.aqueduct.org

*4:30 pm – 6:30 pm: Double feature live family entertainment Pop Culture Dance Show by Sleepy Hollow Performing Arts and Clocktower Players (or alternate TBA) at the Irvington Town Hall Theater (fee: $3.00) http:irvingtontheater.com

 

Dinner: Visit our restaurants and cafes for food and drink

8:30pm – 10:00: Independent film (Ginger and Rosa, or alternate selection) shown at Irvington Town Hall Theater by The Best of Film Series (fee: $9:00)  http://irvingtontheater.com
